Scott Bamforth is a junior at Weber State after playing his sophomore year for the Wildcats. Bam transferred to WSU from Western Nebraska where he played for 2 years. He had an elbow injury so he redshirted his second year which turned out to be a big bonus for Coach Rahe. Committed to Weber State on 11/5/2009. Rated as an 80 by ESPN.

As a sophomore Bam started the year off with a shoulder dislocation and played the entire season at well under 100% health. Played in 31 of 32 games and had shoulder come out of socket in at least 2 games. Was the national leader in 3-point field goal percentage shooting 49%. Was selected as Big Sky 1st Team All-Conference and the Big Sky Conference Newcomer of the Year. Stats: 12.2 ppg, 2.8 apg, 2.1 rpg, .464 FG%, .488 3P%, .857 FT%, career-high 27 points vs NAU, career-high 7 assists at NAU, hit 7-10 3-pointers vs NAU. 3 games with 6+ 3-pointers, 4+ 3-pointers in 7 games. Bam's 7 three's against NAU is the third most in a single game by a Wildcat.
On January 29th, 2011, Bamforth made a half-court buzzer beater to beat the 7-0 (Big Sky) Northern Colorado Bears. The contested shot was just inside the half-court line as time expired to give WSU a 72-71 victory. Watch it.

Was named to the 2009-10 NJCAA Preseason All-America Third Team. Redshirt year due to elbow dislocation.
2008-09
Freshman year at Western Nebraska CC, played for Brian Joyce, team compiled a 25-7 record. Stats: 18.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 2.3 apg. Earned All-Region Nine First Team honors.
