JC shooting guard
Franklin Session, 6'2", 160 lb guard from Los Angeles, CA, just finished up his sophomore season at Saddleback (JC) College in Mission Viejo, California. As a soph, Session's team finished the season 29-8 and made it to the California junior college championship game which they lost 69-60 to Riverside. Session had 14 points, 16 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 assists.

On the season, Session averaged 14.27 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 2.54 apg, 1.76 spg, 1.19 bpg, .44 FG% and .35 3P%. At just 6'2" he was a rebounding beast with 10 or more rebounds in 21 of the 29 games even 14 or more in 7 games.

Session graduated from Jordan High School in 2007, he played his freshman year at Irvine Valley College before transferring to Saddleback.

Josh Noble, 6'2", 190 lb guard from Brooklyn, NY, played his JC ball at Snead State Community College in Boaz, Alabama. He also graduated from Hillcrest High in Tuscaloosa, AL.

At Snead this past season Noble averaged 13.2 ppg, 5.2 apg, 5 spg & 3.9 rpg.

Craig Von Allman, 6'4", guard from Windsor, CO, played his senior season at Windsor High. He is reported as being one of the best shooters in the state of Colorado and as a junior was first team all-state. As a senior Von Allman scored over 18 per game and shot 60% from the 3-pt line.

Weber State, though, pulled out in the fall after another recruit signed during the fall period, said assistant coach Tim Gardner in a telephone interview Thursday."

Wes Eikmeier, 6'3", 170 lb guard from Fremont, Nebraska played his freshman year at Iowa State. At ISU he played in 26 of the 32 game schedule. Eikmeier averaged 11.3 mpg, 2.9 ppg, 0.7 apg, .316 FG% and .345 3P%.

His senior year in high school he played at Fremont Archbishop Bergan where he scored 22.6 ppg.

Matt Peeler, 6'6", 220 lb wing from Alamogordo, New Mexico is playing for Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. Peeler played high school basketball at Alamogordo High School. He played AAU ball for the New Mexico Force, due to an injury sustained, he went the JC route hoping to end up playing DI.

Two high school seniors just signed their national letters of intent to play for the ‘Cats in 2009-10 along with one junior college transfer.

Byron Fulton, 6'7", 230 lb forward/center from (Saint Mary's High) Phoenix, AZ, has signed letter of intent to come to Weber State. Fulton is rated as a 74 on espn.com. Many of last years new recruits to the Big Sky Conference were rated as 40's.

Blake Davis, 6'5", 205 lb small forward also from (Saint Mary's High) Phoenix, AZ, has signed letter of intent to come to Weber State. Davis is rated as a 73 on espn.com. Davis plays on the same high school team as Fulton and maintains a 3.62 GPA.

Lindsey Hughey, 6'3", 194 lb shooting guard has signed letter of intent to come to Weber State. This season he will play his sophomore season for Seminol State College in Oklahoma. Last season as a 2nd team JUCO All-American he averaged 12.8 ppg, 51.3% from the field, & 40.7% from beyond the arc. He played his high school ball at South Grand Prairie in Grand Prairie, TX. At Grand Prairie, Lindsey was a McDonald All American nominee, District 6-5 MVP, 2005-2006 Offensive Player of the Year, first team All District.

Coach Rahe's comments:
"Blake is a tough, hard-nosed, competitive kid. He plays extremely hard everyday and just knows how to play on both ends of the court. Byron is a 240 pound post player who is really skilled, has great hands plus he has the arm span of a 7'1" player, so he plays much bigger in the post."

"Lindsey has a high skill level. He competes every single possession whether in a game or in practice. He was just what we were looking for at the two guard spot."

"We are really excited about have these three players coming into our program. First off, they are each good students and work hard in the classroom. They are all high character individuals, good citizens and will be good teammates. Each of them has a bright future ahead of them here at Weber State."

Nuno Muandumba, 5'11", 185 lb guard will play his senior year this year at Pinnacle High in Phoenix, AZ. Very talented lead guard with good quickness and ability to create own shot. Very good feel and vision. Excellent balance and plays under control. Muandumba has a solid build and strength. Can defend bigger-stronger athletes. One of the better point guards in the west for 2009.

Gage Wooten, 6'4", small forward from Aurora, CA, who will play his senior season at Eaglecrest High. His junior year he lead his team to the state semifinals and to a 23-3 mark. The first team all-state athlete even played with an injured shoulder in the tournament.

Corbin Green, 6'6", forward from Salt Lake City, UT, who will play his senior season at Olympus High. Corbin is the younger brother of Utah's Shaun Green. Corbin is really interested in Weber because Rahe is a family friend who helped recruit his older brother to Utah. Corbin: "I really like the Weber State program." When asked about going to Utah: "I kinda do, kinda don't. I don't really want to follow my brother, exactly, but I would like to stay in-state. I am really interested in Weber State. That's my top school."
