Bamforth Injured The Western Nebraska Cougars have been playing without sophomore Scott Bamforth for the past 6-8 games. Bamforth dislocated his elbow in a game a few weeks ago and will miss an extended amount of time and possibly the entire season and redshirt. 11/12/09 Rahe Signs 3

7/3/09 JC forward/center Wil Carter, 6'9", forward from Pocatello, ID, will play his soph year at Salt Lake Community College in 2009-10. He played his freshman year at SLCC and then went on an LDS mission and is now back. Before signing to go to SLCC when he was going to Highland High he was being looked at and/or had offers from Idaho State, Montana, Utah Valley & Weber State. Weber has only signed one player ever from the city of Pocatello - Nick Hansen.
JC point guard Marcus Williams, 5'10", 160 lb point guard from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, will play his sophomore year in 2009-10 at Cochise CC in Nogales, AZ. As a freshman at Cochise, Williams was named an honorable mention to the 2008-09 NJCAA All-America Team. He was also named to the 2008-09 ACCAC Men's Basketball All-Conference First Team. AAU: New Mexico Force In high school, Williams was a tremendous athlete. He played football, bball & Track. He won the state title multiple times in the high jump, his personal record is 6'10". In basketball he led his team to the 5A state championship while averaging 18.6 ppg & 2.8 spg. 4/19/09 JC guard Josh Noble, 6'2", 190 lb guard from Brooklyn, NY, played his JC ball at Snead State Community College in Boaz, Alabama. He also graduated from Hillcrest High in Tuscaloosa, AL. At Snead this past season Noble averaged 13.2 ppg, 5.2 apg, 5 spg & 3.9 rpg. Schools of Interest: N/A Update: Signed with Weber State 4/19/09 High school guard Craig Von Allman, 6'4", guard from Windsor, CO, played his senior season at Windsor High. He is reported as being one of the best shooters in the state of Colorado and as a junior was first team all-state. As a senior Von Allman scored over 18 per game and shot 60% from the 3-pt line. 3/26/09 JC small forward Matt Peeler, 6'6", 220 lb wing from Alamogordo, New Mexico is playing for Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. Peeler played high school basketball at Alamogordo High School. He played AAU ball for the New Mexico Force, due to an injury sustained, he went the JC route hoping to end up playing DI.
