Damian Lillard (6'2", 185) played his true freshman year at Weber State. He is the first player in the history of the Big Sky Conference (46 years) to be named to the All-Conference First Team. As a frosh, Lillard played 29.4 minutes per game and averaged 11.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.1 spg, .841 FT%, .434 FG% & .374 3P%. In Big Sky regular season games he averaged 15 ppg.
2009-10
Lillard's soph season he was an all-conference first team selection again and also won the Big Sky MVP award while leading his team to back-to-back titles. Lillard was also named to the AP All-America Team.
Lillard led the conference in scoring while averaging 19.9 ppg (31st in the nation) and 20.7 ppg in league play. His .853 free-throw percentage was 50th best in the nation. Damian also led the Big Sky in 3-pointers per game with 2.7, and was fourth in assists with 3.8. He had more than 10 points in 29 of WSU's 31 games, hitting for at least 20 in 17 games. Lillard is one of just four sophomores in Big Sky history to win the MVP award
