Saw minutes in all 32 games for Weber State. Richardson started 14 games and averaged 4.2 ppg. He scored in double digits four times and had a career-high 23 points against Mayville State. His 68 assists ranked 3rd best on the team with his 2.1 apg. His career-high was 7 against Northern New Mexico. He hit 15-of-19 (79%) from the free throw line. He has played in all 64 career games.

2010-11
Played as true freshman averaging 16.7 minutes per game and was a big help to the team when Damian Lillard went down after the ninth game with a broken foot. Stats; 16.7 mpg, 3.2 ppg, 1.5 apg, .274 FG%, .333 3P% and a team best .926 FT%. Had a career-high 17 points against Northern Colorado on Jan 29 where he shot 5-6 three-pointers. He shot 25-of-27 free-throws on the season including making his final 17 in-a-row.

High School
Richardson was born and raised in Lewisville, Texas and played for Lewisville High. Prior to his senior year he moved to Tracy, CA. At Lewisville High he averaged 13.5 ppg, 4.5 apg and was a First Team All-District Class 5A. At West High in California, J-Rich averaged 27 ppg and set a school record scoring 46 points in a single game.
