Lindy's Sports College Basketball 2011-12 Preview said there's solid role support, enhanced by the addition of SMU transfer Frank Otis up front and Otis is a newcomer to watch at Weber State.

2010-11
Sat out the season as a red-shirt after transferring to Weber State from SMU.

2009-10
As a sophomore he played in 29 of 31 games and started two. Stats: 11 mpg, 2.1 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 54.8 FG%.

2008-09
Freshman year he played in 29 games and started 11. Stats: 13.9 mpg, 2.4 ppg, 2.2 rpg and .491 FG%.

High School
Graduated from McClymonds High School in Oakland where he played for Coach Dwight Nathaniel. Bill Russell, Frank Robinson and Antonio Davis also played for McClymonds. Otis was ranked #22 in California by GoldenStatePreps.com. His senior season he averaged 17 ppg, 10 rpg and was named First Team All-State after helping his team win the state title. His junior year, McClymonds won the Oakland Athletic League title and the Division I state championship game, Otis averaged 14.5 ppg, 13 rpg and 2 apg. Was an All-State selection, All-Northern California, First Team All-Oakland Athletic League and team MVP.
