*Trevyn Smith became the first player in WSU history to post 3 straight 1,000 yard rushing seasons and is now WSU's career rushing leader
*First win against Montana since the 1998 season
*First win against Montana State since 2000 season
*First season to beat Montana and Montana State in the same year since 1987
*First 6 win season in conference play since 1991
*Second ever 10 win season in school history (1987 - 10-3)
*First ever season in school history to start out 5-0, 6-0, and 7-0 in conference play

Weber State is a charter member of the Big Sky conference. Weber's first year of football as a four-year school was also the same year the Big Sky was established - 1963.

WSU has won 3 Big Sky Conference championships and has made 4 appearances in the NCAA postseason. WSU is 2-4 in the post season.

The Wildcats play at Stewart Stadium which was built in 1966 and its current capacity is 17,500.
