*Big Sky Champions - first title since 1968 (would have been co-champs in 1987 but the Big Sky didn't recognize co-champs for a period of time)
*Most players named first-team All-Big Sky (12) in one season by any team in conference history
*Trevyn Smith became the first player in WSU history to post 3 straight 1,000 yard rushing seasons and is now WSU's career rushing leader
*First win against Montana since the 1998 season
*First win against Montana State since 2000 season
*First season to beat Montana and Montana State in the same year since 1987
*First 6 win season in conference play since 1991
*Second ever 10 win season in school history (1987 - 10-3)

Weber State is a charter member of the Big Sky conference. Weber's first year of football as a four-year school was also the same year the Big Sky was established - 1963.
